A mosaic of cultures and customs, a rich and varied, breathtaking views, unique animals, along with the warmth and the availability of its people and the mild climate make Uganda a unique tourist destination and a must for those who want to know the Africa .

From Acholi regions, north of the country, to the nomadic pastoralists of Karamoja, Uganda has a richness and variety of traditional cultures that are just waiting to be discovered by the European public.

Beside the unique and unusually rich assemblage of ecosystems and diversity of habitats,Uganda  is host to 53,9% of the world’s remaining population of mountain gorillas and to 50% of Africa’s bird species.

The country is proud to host Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard. We host several other animal wonders beside the so called “Big Five”.

From the bounty of nature,  Uganda  has won several world accolades. Snow Peak Mt Rwenzori is one of the top hiking places in Africa and among the top 15 hiking spots in the world.

Virunga volcanoes was voted “a must see place 2012 among the 20 places one has to visit in their life-time”.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, apart from being a top world site for mountain gorilla tracking, has also been voted Africa’s number one birding site. Murchison Falls National Park is 9th  among the top 10 birding sites on the continent.
